What are RT/SU standard steel components?

RT/SU standard steel components are steel components that are installed in the concrete before it hardens and transfer the loads applied to them to the concrete structures through anchorings. RT/SU standard steel parts consist of angle steel or steel plate with welded rebar steel anchorings.

What are RT/SU standard steel components used for?

RT/SU standard steel components are used in concrete structures where reliable load transfer between the concrete and the structure to be connected to it is required.

Available material options:

Structural steel (S355J2, eg RT)
Stainless steel (1.4301, e.g. RTR)
Stainless steel with stainless steel anchors (e.g. RTRr)

Sheet metal and corner parts

S235JR or S355J2, painted with protective paint.
Stainless steel sheet and corner parts of quality 1.4301

The anchorages of the plates

Rebar steel in quality B500B
Stainless steel grade B600XB / B600XC (B600KX)
