SBKL – Fastening Plate
What are SBKL Fastening Plates?
SBKL welding plates are welding plates equipped with rebar anchors that are installed in concrete before it hardens.
What are fastening plates used for?
SBKL fastening plates are intended as fastening bases for steel profiles.
How do they work?
The welding plates transfer loads from the welded steel structure to the concrete structure through anchorings.
Where are they used?
They are used, among other things, in steel structures, concrete elements and machine foundations, where other structures are attached to the plate part by welding.
SBKL fastening plates are manufactured from:
- Structural steel S355J2 (SBKL)
- Stainless steel 1.4301 (SBKLR)
- Acid-resistant steel 1.4401 (SBKLH)
- Stainless steel with stainless steel anchors (SBKLRr)
The sizes produced vary from 50 x 100–300 x 300 mm. The thickness of the sheet is 8–15 mm, depending on the size. Sheets made of structural steel are protectively painted. The stainless steel sheets are in grade 1.4301 and the acid-resistant sheets in grade 1.4401. The bolt anchors of the welded sheets are made of round steel, grade S355J2.
How is it made?
The fastening plates are manufactured using the MAG welding method in an EN1090 certified welding workshop, thus ensuring traceability and quality. The products are manufactured using robotic or manual welding. The products are traceable through markings on the surface of the plates. The markings include product name, dimensions, production batch and FI mark.
