SLS – Expansion Joints
SLS expansion joints, or movement joint reinforcements, are designed for joints in slabs on ground, when the aim is to control movements in the structure and reduce the risk of cracking. The expansion joint is easy to install. Jointing in place is carried out by bolting the joints together with extension pieces. When the cast dries, the expansion joint opens by itself.
What are SLS expansion joints?
SLS expansion joints are steel components intended for movement joints in slabs on the ground.
What is the expansion joint used for?
Expansion joints prevent cracking in floors and allow movement in the structure. They are used in commercial premises, schools, industrial halls and parking lots and are suitable for movement joints in all directions of the slab.
