JKL – Heavy-Duty Fastening Plate
The JKL heavy duty fastening plate is designed for heavier fastenings where the capacity of regular welded plates is not sufficient. The fastening plate acts as a welding base and transfers big loads to the concrete structure using rebar anchors.
What are JKL fastening plates?
JKL fastening plates are thick fastening plates equipped with rebar anchors that are installed in concrete before it hardens.
What are they used for?
JKL fastening plates are used in structures where the capacity of SBKL or KL astening plates is not sufficient. The welding plates are intended for steel structures, concrete elements and machine foundations, where other structures are attached to the plate part by welding.
How do JKL Heavy Duty fastening plates work?
Heavy Duty fastening plates transfer large loads to the concrete structure via rebar anchors.
Materials and sizes
- Structural steel S355J2
- Stainless steel 1.4301
- Acid resistant steel 1.4401
- The rebar anchors in the casting plates are made of rebar steel in class B500B
Sizes 150 x 150 – 600 x 600 mm, plate thicknesses 25–30 mm.
Manufacturing
The fastening plates are manufactured using the MAG welding method in an EN1090-certified welding workshop. The products are manufactured using robotic welding or manual welding.
Traceability
The products are traceable through markings on the surface of the boards. The markings include product name, dimensions, production batch and FI mark.
